Big fat grilled sandwiches / 大ㄎㄡ胖碳烤三明治

We love sandwiched and saw this nearby our hotel. Simple food. But but very good flavour.

Saw them grill the sandwich with charcoal.

Very nice concept. Will come back again

I went to buy breakfast and the eat-in corner was closed, so I ate it at a nearby park.

I add ham to cucumber egg toast
My partner added cheese to the ham and egg toast.

It has a lot of cucumber paste in it and has a nice texture, which I really like! There's not a lot of sweet mayonnaise, and the ham isn't Japanese-style, it's meaty, but it's thin so it's just right.was delicious~

Does the ham and egg toast with cheese plus have a weaker Taiwanese cheese flavor?
It doesn't have much of a cheesy taste and it's a bit sad without cucumber.

It's perfect for me (a middle-aged woman) as a light breakfast, but I think men should eat two or add bread.

I also bought and drank cold unsweetened soy milk and tea soy milk, but the tea soy milk was just coffee milk (sweetened).
The soy milk may have been a coincidence, but it had a grainy and bitter taste that I didn't like.

When I was waiting at the register, they gave me a Japanese menu and the staff were kind and it was a very nice restaurant.

I'll definitely come back if I come to Kaohsiung again.

使用ubereat訂餐，其中有點了一份肉鬆火腿蛋吐司少了火腿，打電話告知店家只回應說下次補給我，那假如到時候不認帳呢！？之前遇到相同狀況店家都是直接讓店員重新外送，現在是做大了態度就這樣嗎

大ㄎㄡ胖碳烤三明治，位於高雄市鹽埕區大公路78號，創立於民國54年，為鹽埕區必品嚐平民美食，舊址是在大智路上大智市場旁，招牌三明治是第一次來的人必點的，單純的古早味，讓人吃不膩，三明治的內容很簡單，煎蛋加上小黃瓜、火腿片，但是重點是店家的美乃滋配方，特調偏甜的美乃滋相當好吃。使用傳統的火烤爐，加上木炭下去烤吐司，烤吐司的速度很快，所以吐司的表面只是微焦而已，帶有淡淡的香氣，而不會過硬。用餐空間環境還算簡約乾淨。因為我專挑冷門的時段，所以沒有特別遇到排隊的情形。有蠻多美食節目曾經採訪過，例如食尚玩家，在台灣的故事等。

Barely grilled (sad). If you come in the morning it’s probably very busy. You’ll have to wait a while since they only have one person doing eggs.

吃著吃著不知道為什麼就不想再來了

基本上來說是很普通的早餐內容…
碳烤的部份有點失望
他的焦香面積不大，而且也不酥

對我們來說這只能用中規中矩來形容

I started to eat this big fat grilled sandwiches before they moved to this location. In the past, they use a little tiny charcoal grill to grill the bread, and they still does. This new location is so much bigger, brighter and cleaner compare with the old location. If you never been here before, try their house sandwich first. I like the pork floss sandwich with is the house sandwich with additional pork floss.

現點現做 當我拿到的時候 馬上吃 是一種微溫的溫度。我覺得可以再烤久一些 熱度多一些 炭香味也多一些 會好一點～
我點招牌吐司 （三片吐司 蛋 黃瓜 火腿）美乃滋剛剛好 不會過度膩口
整體算很清爽
但其實算是 現做的古早味早餐三明治
比較沒特別的感受

So called grilled sandwich. But it's only lightly grilled just for the namesake. Would be just a normal egg sandwich with bacon if not for the grilled version

Famous sandwich place in Yancheng. I went for their number one, which includes ham, egg, cucumber, and I added cheese. Everything is super fresh. The toast being grilled instead of being heated in a toaster was quite an unusual sight for me. Taste wise the sandwich was pretty good, but also a bit bland imho. It’s a great value for money as the prices are quite low. Be prepared for long lines!

當我手接到我點的三明治時，我真的不敢相信”是涼的”，這不是當年大智路的炭烤三明治啊！！本來烤過的吐司已經都變軟了，更別說毫無炭烤味了，這只是一份超普通的三明治！！以前大智路上會大排長龍，就是因為現點現做，所以才會有酥脆外皮、新鮮內餡、炭烤香味～

六點開門就來也沒在排隊，是但吐司只烤一下下，還是冷的，不焦沒什麼碳燒味 (不過確實是拿碳在烤，不是烤箱) 點了肉鬆三明治，食材跟份量其實就是一般的早餐店三明治。小黃瓜，蛋跟火腿和肉鬆都是早餐店等級，唯蛋不是荷包蛋而是比較厚的烘蛋。一份45也跟一般早餐店差不多。整體而言可以買來當早餐或宵夜吃。
