牛津 Oxford

This is one of the few restaurants open late in Kaohsiung.
All staff can speak English and are friendly.
The atmosphere is also nice and not too noisy.
Recommended for a quick drink of beer late at night.

It feels like any western influenced bar in Kaohsiung. Nothing unique but the staff is very friendly.

Just had beer there, so I cannot say anything about their food.but the barladies were very friendly and they speak very good English

Today I went in the first time, it is a pretty nice team working there. Even I was alone there, I never had the feeling to stay alone. On Saturday is also a nice live music. Thanks guys for the nice evening.

Lovely bar in the heart of Tapei. Great friendly staff, great music and lovely bar snacks make this lively venue a real joy to visit. My intended half hour visit finished 5 hours later.

Luka is the owner of this establishment. I had the pleasure of taking to her and getting to know her and her staff. They have great beers on tap with great free bar snacks for a reasonable price. The menu caters to the American taste plus the local Asian tastes included. This is something that I haven’t seen at any other bar. Kudos to this bar for being different and standing out from the crowd.

低消200，進門就附上一碗蠶豆，不趕人。墨西哥辣雞翅不是想像中有裹醬的，但炸的酥脆好吃，只是不辣，沒附飲料有點可惜；餐點價格中上，因為是酒吧關係，熱飲只有紅茶。店內來來往往都是老外，有點不是太習慣。

I've always liked this place. I often go to Kaohsiung during lunar new year, and this is my go to pub for a warm welcome and decent fare.

環境舒適，酒吧內提供中式餐點和炸物，點了宮保雞丁、炒高麗菜和炒飯，雖然有點油但是都很好吃~啤酒也有happy hour時間，後來也點了調酒深水炸彈跟新加坡司令，也都很不錯，跟店員聊疫情對他們的衝擊，像是他們有很多外國差旅來高雄的朋友，這些國外的朋友都很熱情，只是因為疫情都沒機會見面之類的。
有機會應該還會想再訪，試試傳說中很好吃的水餃和其他調酒~

A very fun place to grab some drinks and listen to music. Not to mention the bartender is very friendly

As a visitor to Kaohsiung it is unfortunate for me that another opportunity to return to “Oxford”（牛津) and enjoy the company of the staff, owner, and customers has been kiboshed by that virus! I never thought it would get through Taiwan’s excellent defences. Politics, less than honest disclosures, and complacency have a lot to answer for, particularly politics.

The menu is a mix of English, European, USA American and of course Chinese. I had a burger worthy of the title homemade; good flavours, good texture, and much better than most home cooked burgers

A possible highlight for some is the music selection from the 60s, 70s, 80s and maybe 90s. When was Oasis’ Wonderwall?

It’s quite bizarre to travel halfway round the world and think “I’ve been in much worse pubs than this in the UK”; a backhanded compliment, but a heartfelt compliment nonetheless.

I almost forgot - the staple of a good English pub is good beer. They’ve plenty of good beer, just not English. PS Guinness is Irish and proud!

Always nice to be here. Relax, good food, a variety choices of drinks with reasonable price. There is happy hour before 8 pm everyday.

Cheapest place to play darts I think! Only 10 TWD for each round:) very friendly waitresses, cheap beers during happy hour - 100/pint

Nice friendly little local pub. Good service and fantastic happy hour. Regulars seem hospitable and chatty.

British Style Pub. Enjoy after office hours and food tasty. Reasonable price. Also, Taiwan Singers are excellent. Recommend for travellers.

It is meant to be a British pub but it is not.the staff are friendly but it is not a place I would recommend
