It's cute that this place serves tea and pineapple cake free of charge!

I went at 4pm-ish and there was a line. I actually didn't know that you could skip the line if you would like to purchase the desserts without samples. So I queued up, and as I got closer, I realised that the line was for free tea and a pineapple cake.

The place was really nice, the staff very efficient and I decided to try because the pineapple cakes (only the pineapple cakes) are certified halal. Others don't seem to have any ingredients that contain pork/ lard but I may be wrong.

Anyway, after trying out the cake and tea, you are free to purchase them or exit with a really interesting experience. I purchased the pineapple cakes as it is perfect for souvenirs as it comes in proper boxes and personal bags as well. They also offer boxes if you have purchased a big number of cakes without extra cost.

Phenomenal! This is the place to go for excellent pineapple cake experience!

When you walk in, you get a platter with a cup of tea and a pineapple cake for a free sample. You will end up buying one.or more. They had special red covers for the new years, along with red bag coverings!

The pineapple cakes are light, buttery, and have chunky filling, with pure pineapple. It is quite different from other pineapple cakes. A must try in any city in Taiwan.

Very clean and welcoming space. I visited to buy some pineapple cakes but I was not pressured to buy anything while I was there. Saw a lot of people walk out without purchasing anything. Their pineapple cakes have about a 3 week shelf life, so purchase wisely. I only tried this and Vigor Kobo (not counting cheaper supermarket cakes) and prefer Sunny Hills cakes.

東西好吃熱情，最重要的是免費。從來沒有看過這麼澎湃的試吃，一顆完整的鳳梨酥配烏龍茶。真是強大的行銷團隊。不過俗話說得好，免費的最貴最後採購的也是一堆，難怪是臺灣知名的鳳梨酥。室內的設計是卡通的造型。周邊的榕樹和景觀造型非常有特色。到高雄駁二碼頭必訪。

Free tea and free pineapple cake? Excuse me sign me up! I love everything free but this was a must have! They also sell more cake at the back, but I was kind of hard to locate the cafe

1 cup of tea and 1 pineapple cake is for free. If you want more, you have to buy a whole box. And that’s what I did. For me by far the best pineapple cake in Taiwan. Almost like shortbread with pineapple filling. Perfect combination of salty, sweet and sour.
