Solo trip to Taiwan from Japan for 5 nights and 6 days (9th time)
I went to Taichung for a day trip in early September.
Previously, I tried to buy a ticket locally to ride the Puyuma, a Taiwan Railway express train from Tainan to Taipei, but the Puyuma was sold out.
For that reason, this time I made a reservation online nearly a month in advance in Japan.

I safely arrived at Taichung Station on the comfortable Puyuma, and I knew where I wanted to go, so when I went to the tourist information center to ask which bus to take, a woman who appeared to be a university volunteer with a sign marked my place. After seeing the memo I wrote, he quickly used Google and looked it up.
He also told me the bus stop.
I was grateful for their kind smile and response, and when I went out of the station, I saw the new station building and was taking pictures of it, but the woman from the tourist information center from earlier, perhaps worried, came out and headed in the direction of the bus stop. He pointed and guided me.
It was a heartwarming response during my trip.
On my first trip to Taiwan over 10 years ago, whenever I stopped on the road in Taipei to figure out where I wanted to go, a local person would always approach me and guide me. I fell in love with Taiwan due to its kindness, and have traveled there every summer.
This was my first time in four years due to the coronavirus, so I was really looking forward to it. The kind volunteers at the information center there.thank you very much!

Staff are not friendly to offer help, such as a shame and disrespectful memory of the trip to this remarkable city

It's very lively during the weekend, where many mini shops can be found selling their own crafts and items.

不是抱怨服務中心，別誤會。
在這購票候車大廳等車時，人來人往，便利商店旁的廁所小到可憐，每次都排隊，這麼大的車站假日這麼多人，要走多遠去上廁所？
那個出站進站的口這麼小，只有四五個閘口，那個入口旁為什麼一定要放服務中心跟便利商店，弄得進站後路徑彎彎曲曲的，是考酒測嗎？跟大都市形象一點都不符合，市長市民會介意嗎？
星期日樓下商店街11點才開鐵門，真是開眼界了！
地下停車場繳費機老遠才有，每個地方還只有一台，我真是越來越佩服這城市這國家的勤儉節約。

身為台中人滿滿的回憶

上個禮拜六有很多插圖畫家來擺攤

滿滿人潮相互遊走每個人都有不同的目的地

站在舊鐵軌上很難想像幾年前還在舊站搭車上學回家

新的鐵鹿街很多美食希望可以用台中特有的香味

替每一個路過的朋友承載滿滿回憶

已個哺乳媽媽跟嫩嬰來說非常不友善
借哺乳室要先到服務台壓證件換出入證
然後還要走到到月台找主管
然後跟主管後面走到辦公室
然後在辦公室外面等主管慢慢的拿鑰匙跟遙控器

然後才有走到哺乳室
結果哺乳室打開後只有2張沙發
一台冰箱
一座流理台
一台飲水機
沒有尿布台！！沒有尿布？？
那怎麼換尿布！？

雖然佈置溫馨
但是過程真的讓我感到很無奈

雖然我是借哺乳室使用沒有錯

但是沒想到要重重難關才能進來

雖然重重難關才進來但是還是謝謝台中臺鐵的哺乳室

希望我的意見可以改善，讓後面有需要借使用的媽咪跟寶寶快速進哺乳室

一出火車站 好多遊民 地上一區區或躺或坐 一旁還有家當行李
一樓等公車時 還碰到遊民大吼吵架
一早如果一個人等公車 還蠻可怕的
台中火車站 算是台中的門面吧.
打選戰之餘 是否考慮如何安置遊民？

好幸運喔 訂票 就剛好有普悠瑪號 從台中北區 開車到高鐵的時間再加上搭高鐵北上 其實沒有省多少時間 所以坐火車 也是很棒的選擇 沿路的風景真美 台灣真的是很漂亮的國度 搭火車都能沿路看到很美的景觀 順便放空一下

服務台的小姐給我介紹了錯誤的巴士資訊，司機說我應該要搭其他班車可以直接抵達的目的地
讓我多走了很多路
我認為火車站放這種搞不清楚狀況的服務人員提供旅遊資訊實在是很可怕的一件事情

台中火車站新站體蓋得很好，相當通風開闊，是很好的設計，還能走去舊站區看舊火車廂，可惜舊站體沒有好好發揮。地下停車場很寬敞方便，入口從大智路進，出口從復興路出，前半小時免費，搭電梯上樓就是剪票口對面自動售票機處。跨大智路的空橋過去，有行李房和投幣置物櫃，沒有空橋到客運轉運站，需先下樓再過馬路到對面。

我傻眼了，月台上，沒有一人巡視，戴口罩的是傻了？還是口罩拉到嘴巴下，鼻子下的才是正常？月台椅子上都有貼隔位坐，但是，一般乘客都視若不見！照坐，還拿行李佔位子，連台鐵列車駕駛員也是如此，上述狀況，台鐵列車駕駛員全做了！請問台鐵，你自個兒駕駛員都管不了! 如何勸導大部份不守規矩的乘客! 台中火車站的如此管理品質！令人 心寒啊！

隨著舊的拆除，
新的慢慢蓋起來跟最佳化，
期待百年車站站區越來越好，
古蹟歷史建築也能別越來越少. ，

因為建築技術的關係使所有城市越來越像，
唯有與眾不同的地方才能吸引人家玩賞。
