It was a great museum. It far exceeded my expectations.
The main purpose of the exhibition was paintings, but there were also various genres such as taxidermy and musical instruments, so I assumed that the purpose of the exhibition was to have a broad and shallow appreciation of them.

However, that was a big misunderstanding, and when I actually went there, I found that they had a wide selection of all genres. It's ridiculous that it's wide and shallow.
It may have more volume than any particularly large art museum in Japan.

If you go to Tainan, we recommend that you don't miss this place.
The staff are also very good and polite. It was a place where I was completely satisfied with the building, the collection, and the hospitality.

I recommend watching for at least 2 hours, and if you have time in your schedule, it's best to watch for 4 hours or more.

值得全家大小一遊的好地方，佔地極廣，綠草如茵、樹林成蔭、拱橋跨池，橋面天使（神）雕像栩栩如生，欧式建築，高聳宏偉。
展場陳列的物品，除了動物標本外，餘均稀世珍宝，價值連城，令人嘆為觀止。
館內有超商、咖啡廳、麵食館，餐飲方便，力推。

The Chimei museum is really quite beautiful. There is a lovely park and area outside of the museum to walk and relax and take pictures. You can but tickets to the permanent exhibition, the temporary exhibition or a combined ticket for both. Everything is clearly labeled and there is a mix of different things to see. There is Arms and Armour, Natural History and Fossils, a Rodin Gallery, Fine Arts and Musical instruments all in the permanent collection. Leading up to the museum outside there is a beautiful Apollo fountain and Olympus Bridge.

從去年知道tim walker要展出就已購好票要衝第一場，但因為疫情很多展覽都延後，聽老師說因為疫情英國V&K的人員無法來台佈展全是靠一遍遍仔細地溝通跟確認已達到外國的要求，對奇美辛苦的工作人員特別特別感謝，因為你們才能看到那麼棒的展

下交流道不用幾分就到了，停車第一小時30元，之後每一小時15元，殘障停車位免費，發現很多殘障車位都被非殘障身份的車子給佔了，停車在殘障停車格，出去時需拿殘障證明給出入柵欄旁的管理員驗證，就會幫你開柵欄不用付費，服務台旁有各種大小寄物箱及手機充電真的方便，必須投幣10元起跳（看大小），鑰匙歸回，可以退幣，真的很方便，充電也可以鎖起充電，也可以退幣，也有RO冷熱水2台真的很方便，但是耶誕人多的話真的不夠用，博物館內的觸控螢幕，有詳細解說，還有動畫，做的很棒，音樂廳，每種樂器配上一台超大螢幕介紹及享受音質，真的獲益良多。內有7-11及星巴克.

外圍有廣大的草皮，大片的水池與聲名遠播的雕像，每樣都值得駐足欣賞。

特展與常態展覽的套票500元，如果要特展與常態展的導覽則各需50元，常態導覽有分兩條路線，建議上午下午各選一條，每場約一小時。但由於館藏太多，無法一一講解，要留些時間回頭觀賞。

常態展大至分為雕塑走廊、羅丹區、動物區、兵器區、樂器區、藝術區。慢慢看絕對能看上好幾個小時。如果看到一半想出去用餐或集合導覽，要到服務台蓋章，不然票上的QR code 只能掃一次。

裡面的餐廳只有一間義式料理，價格略高，味道四平八穩，還算不錯。

聖誕節的時候還有特別的市集活動，但不管何時，都是很值得一來的博物館。

誤打誤撞來到台南的奇美博物館
被眼前的景象以及耳邊的感受，驚豔萬分！
首先，我們是騎摩托車前來，不用收費，入口處要繞著公園半圈後會抵達（有標示，滿清楚的，P3P4兩個停車場停機車），停進去時有個可愛的小圓環車道，此時，便已經覺得此處不單純，會很美艷！
接下來穿過步道，一座諾大的公園地，皆是公共空間，有草皮，有涼亭，有湖泊，有鵝鴨等動物在其中悠遊。
最特別的是，總有一道聲音一直渲染著，那就是有戶外喇叭在播放典雅的音樂，此時散步的你彷彿來到另一個國度，有種穿越到迪士尼樂園的既視感，非常加分！
入口有噴水池，也有希臘眾神的橋墩，還有雷同泰姬瑪哈陵的對稱主博物館，來的時候是聖誕節前，有裝飾聖誕樹，屋頂上的大天使點綴也非常成功！
館內側邊通道有統一集團的商家，星巴克之外，7-11也是有生啤有化妝品有酷聖石，裝潢也不同一般店家，非常高貴典雅的氣質！
前面說是誤打誤撞，所以拍照看完公共區域以及三點了，便沒有準備進去參觀常設展等展覽，將會安排下一次的到來，好好走訪這間美麗的博物館！

奇美博物館，位於臺灣臺南市仁德區，為奇美實業創辦人許文龍創立，是臺灣館藏最豐富的私人博物館、美術館。以典藏西洋藝術品為主，展出藝術、樂器、兵器與自然史四大領域。樂器領域，擁有全球數量最多小提琴收藏，其中包含世界各大製琴師名作。藝術方面，典藏台灣最完整西方繪畫雕塑，目標為建構出基礎西洋藝術史脈絡。兵器領域，展示亞洲最完整之各國珍貴古兵器，透過戰爭兵器呈現歷史與科技演進史。自然史領域，擁有亞洲最大動物標本收藏，範圍涵蓋五大洲哺乳類及鳥類。

舊奇美博物館於1992年正式開放，利用奇美實業大樓5至8樓供民眾免費參觀，個人或團體可先行預約。奇美實業大樓本館自2013年5月起停用，並陸續將展品遷至台南都會公園內的新館，工程於2008年12月動工，花費新臺幣約18.5億元興建，佔地9.5公頃，已於2012年5月17日捐贈給台南市政府，於2015年1月1日啟用。

Chi Mei Museum, located in Rende District, Tainan City, Taiwan, was founded by Xu Wenlong, the founder of Chi Mei Industry, and is the private museum and art gallery with the richest collection in Taiwan. Focusing on collections of Western art, the four major areas of art, musical instruments, weapons and natural history are exhibited. In the field of musical instruments, it has the world's largest collection of violin, including masterpieces by major luthiers in the world. In terms of art, the most complete collection of Western paintings and sculptures in Taiwan, with the goal of constructing a basic Western art history. In the field of weapons, it displays the most complete and precious ancient weapons of various countries in Asia, and presents the history and technological evolution history through war weapons. In the field of natural history, it has the largest collection of animal specimens in Asia, covering mammals and birds on five continents.

The Old Chi Mei Museum was officially opened in 1992. The 5th to 8th floors of the Chi Mei Industrial Building are used for free viewing by the public. Individuals or groups can make reservations in advance. The main hall of the Chi Mei Industrial Building has been suspended since May 2013, and the exhibits have been moved to the new hall in Tainan Metropolitan Park. Donated to the Tainan City Government on May 17,2012, and opened on January 1,2015.

奇美博物館, 堪稱台南小白宮，終於來朝聖了！

遠處可見全白的建築物, 博物館前的草皮, 遠遠的看, 原來像是棋盤式的規劃!

非常有水準的博物館，展品介紹細膩，互動性豐富。現場看到有很多小朋友，而且據媽媽表示小朋友也很喜歡來看展。

有許多互動性的設計，看不懂文字的小朋友也可以很融入，解說影片拍攝十分有水準。會以展品的第一人稱，或角度出發，介紹展品的歷史故事，或修復過程。

樂器管的展示設計很細緻，也同步安排影像介紹，還有管弦樂演出，臨場感十足，讓人輕易融入。

博物館人員專業，訓練有素，動線安排得宜。戶外環境宜人，非常適合帶野餐墊去野餐。

常態性展管館一成不變，動態性展館除了進場門票，一般得再另購票參觀，在網頁或導覽介紹上沒去明確介紹說明。奇美博物館建在台南都會公園區內，都會公園很適合散步野餐看夕陽好地方完全免費，平日停車計次60元。

真的很佩服奇美創辦人許文龍先生創立奇美博物館，可說是臺灣館藏最豐富的私人博物館。以典藏西洋藝術品為主，展出藝術、樂器、兵器、動物. 等，他的收藏真的好多，也覺得他很有錢！收藏品真是多到令人讚嘆！感謝他成立博物館，和眾人分享這麼棒的藝術作品！

館區很大，館藏不少，如果對博物館有興趣的建議可以排上半天以上來參觀，比較不會有走馬看花的感覺。

另外，館內很多地方是禁止照相（工作人員也蠻“積極”禁止的. ），建議拍照前先詢問，才不會壞了興致。

遛小孩的好地方，寬敞的大草原可以讓小朋友大大的放電，風景美拍照起來也很漂亮，門口還有噴水池也是拍照打卡的好地方，裡面一般展有動物標本可以讓小朋友看到哇哇叫，動物那裡可以拍照留念，但是外面的其他就不行了唷！

A museum with full of stuffs from western world. There is nothing much about Taiwan. NT 250 is little expensive for entry.
