香格里拉台南遠東國際大飯店 Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Tainan / 台南遠東香格里拉

Booked a Suite and entire checked in process was done at level one reception. I was told that room was not ready and will inform me when it’s ready. Has stayed many times and from previous stay with them, they used to text or call but nothing was heard this time round. Went back and checked with them at almost 7pm to get my room keys. Thank you Shangri-la for the past experiences but it’s no longer the same anymore.

The train station is 5 minutes away.on foot from the hotel (rear access from the station).
Very beautiful and comfortable room. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and varied. Very caring staff.

I slipped and fell yesterday morning at the entrance to the pool. The staff on hand treated my wound, very attentive. At that time, I thought it was a great gesture that they asked for my room number.

Upon checkout, business as usual Only then, my wife decided to voluntarily inform front desk of what happened… I think front desk has demonstrated that A. I.could not have come sooner; that human interaction isn’t entirely necessary, even at the Shangri-La.

第一次參加這麼有氣質的尾牙，優雅地把肚子撐到極限。
大推：
生魚片（一定要跟廚師要鮭魚肚肉），
鮮魚湯，蕎麥麵，咖哩羊肉（夠味），
港味的沙茶鮮蝦，蕎麥麵，
甜點一級棒，豆花必吃（滿料滿足）
聖誕火雞肉（略過），聽說烤牛排很棒。
沒地方放了。

關於住宿飯店的部分很滿意
尤其是前台的 Ryan (忘記他的姓氏)
我才剛進來沒多久就被招呼了 房間也幫我們安排在附近
非常專業迅速

不過另一方面就是10樓餐廳的部分
早餐餐品不錯，這就不多說

不過要來談一下服務人員的部分
連續兩天吃下來 發現兩個問題以下
1. 收盤子的時候沒有說任何話手就下來收了 我其實吃到一半嚇到
2. 當餐具在盤子上時候 通常應該要把餐具放置好再收碗盤
但是我遇到的卻是直接亂擺 所以會變成筷子湯匙疊在 刀叉上 還是歪的 觀感非常不好

Great stay. Amazing breakfast. Really take your time and try all the new stuff. Starting with the beef soup is the best!

地段非常方便，就在台南火車站後站前。被升等至3301房。房間及浴室都非常寬敞舒適，備品齊全，品質也好，基本上來說非常棒。

不過吹風機可以考慮更換，舊式的吹風機對長頭髮的女生而言，吹完頭髮，手指頭都要廢了。還有靠近咖啡茶包櫃子的上方冷氣通風孔有點聲音。另外偶爾會聽到不知是哪裡傳來的奇妙機器運轉聲音。不過，瑕不掩瑜。

櫃檯服務人員，服務態度非常友善。還提供時下最夯的蜂蜜檸檬水。早餐菜色豐富，特別的是，提供牛肉湯、小卷米粉及擔擔麵。還有桌邊服務的杏仁茶（略淡）及鹹豆漿。

整體而言，推薦。

參加跨年活動座位有地雷區，喇叭旁螢幕下，只有喇叭噪音也看不到螢幕，業主不應該只想賺錢不顧消費者權利。另點餐流程要檢討，不是消費者擠到吧檯去排隊到點餐，吧檯人手不足一陣混亂，還好後來有利即改善。服務生態度親切，樂團佳，值得贊許。

Beautiful hotel, great upgrade for our honeymoon. Shame they hadn't told us the pool was shut though

We had a very pleasant stay. The location is good and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was good but unfortunately there is not much choice for halal food.

First time here for a company event over the week. Appreciate the pleasant service crews with sweet smile. Am pleasantly appreciative of the hotel team to employ staff with some disability, great job.
Very nice ambient. Room is spacious & cleanliness is up to a 5-star standard.
Shows signs of aging but housekeeping & maintenance team had proved their professionalism in keeping it in order.
Food spread & taste is exceptional, really enjoyed my breakfast & lunch during my stay.

The crab served in the buffet has unknown insect crawling, an indication of hygiene problem. I reported it to front office and Golden Circle. No one replied me so far.

Well trained staffs, they are friendly and very helpful, could speak English very well. The location of the mall itself is very convenient and accessible to stores.
