This experience was a great way to enjoy some local food and learn how to prepare it. We did the Set A and everything was delicious, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and they took lots of photos for us.

I had a great morning learning to make boba tea, dumplings, chicken vermicelli, and tofu salad. Taking a cooking class is one of my favorite things to do while traveling, and this class did not disappoint! It was informative, hands on, and tasty. We even received the recipes to try at home and photos taken by staff during the class were airdropped to us at the end. Would definitely recommend!

Head chef Vivian and her translator WenJun set up the best cultural cooking experience I've ever had!

We decided to go with the unique pineapple cake and salted egg yolk bun cooking class, which is typically only done by locals. Most tourists go for the xiaolongbao which is of course more popular, but if you want a unique challenging and amazingly delicious dessert class take this one!

We started with raw ingredients and carefully created multiple doughs, pastries, and mixes that we then folded up dumpling style into multi-layered pastries.

We ended up with a private lesson for our group of 2 and Vivian was very careful in showing us all the steps. We even went over the allotted time by 2 hrs and she was still very patient with us. Clearly Vivian values the enjoyment of her clients and will deliver an unforgettable experience.

My fiancé and I took a cooking class yesterday and were so happy we did! Dong, our instructor, was extremely knowledgeable and told us the how’s/the why’s for each step when preparing the different dishes.

We got to enjoy each dish we made as we went along, which made for a tasty lunch experience! I would highly recommend taking a class with CookingFun Taiwan if you’re visiting so you can gain a deeper understanding of Taiwanese cuisine!

My family had a wonderful time at CookingFun Taiwan and can highly recommend it. We booked it through Viator. Our afternoon session started at 2: 30pm and lasted approximately 3.5 hours. There was another family of four; the cooking class appears to have a maximum capacity of 10. The hosts and instructors were very welcoming, warm and attentive. And it was a wonderful surprise and "bonus" that they took photos of the class the entire time and at the end, shared the photos with everyone in the class. We learned how to cook 4 dishes: Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), Chicken Vermicelli with Mushrooms and Sesame Oil, Tofu Strips Salad and Bubble Milk Tea. Our kids, ages 23 and 20 had a great time; the other family had two kids, ages 14 and 10, who also had a good time. I would say that the class is appropriate for kids as young as 10, but probably not younger. The kitchen was very clean and the food was all very fresh. Overall we were very impressed, and left well fed.

I am bilingual but the class has an English translator just in case, and that is really thoughtful. Teacher Vivian is bilingual in Japanese and Chinese and she is truly knowledgeable and enjoys teaching foreigners and locals alike in making of good Taiwanese cuisine. The class size is perfect to allow in-depth Q&A for the experienced home cooks. Looking forward to attend the another class in the near future.

I was hosted by Vivian and Dawn, both of whom were super friendly and accommodating! They have an assistant (sorry I didnt get your name!) who was proactive and helpful, helping to take pictures for us:)

We made soup dumplings, a tofu noodle cold appetiser, sesame chicken vermicelli and finally a brown sugar bubbletea - all of which was of course delicious and not difficult to make (thanks to their patience and guidance!)

HIGHLY recommend for anyone (solo traveller like me or with family) to take part in this half day experience! You would get an instruction booklet at the end of class to recreate all the dishes when you return home~

The session has been fun and everyone was friendly and nice. Would definitely be back for other class the next time I'm in Taipei

I had such a great time with CookingFun in Taipei today!
Maya and Vivian were really nice and recipes were delicious, especially the Xiao Long Bao one.
You will end the class by receiving a personalized certificate with the recipes on it.
It takes about 2 and half hours including the time you will have to eat your art piece!
100% recommended.

My friend Marie and I attended the class "Taiwan Traditional Delicacies", and we had such a lovely time there, one of our favorite moment in Taiwan! Vivian and Jennifer taught us how to prepare (among many other delicous meals) the famous Xiao Long Bao, and with their help we manage to do it and it was really excellent.

We had an absolute blast learning how to cook some popular Taiwanese dishes like Xiao long bao and Boba. We really appreciated how easy it was to follow along with the class and that the instructions were provided in English as well! The instructors were so much fun and very encouraging. We also got to keep a recipe card which I will definitely be using soon. It's a lot of amazing and delicious food so come hungry.

As a vegetarian/vegan person I took part at one of the cooking classes and it was just amazing. The team is so friendly and helpful. As a group, we had a lot of fun and learned a lot at the same time. And of course everything was just delicious. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience. A very enjoyable and fun class. We learned how to make xiao long bao, soup, salad and bubble tea. Very interactive class. The instructors were very nice, informative and helpful. They had all the ingredients measured out and ready as well as all the various cooking utensils you need. They also take photos of you cooking and supply the recipes in a nice brochure for you to take home.

I recently took a cooking class at CookingFun Taiwan and it was an amazing experience! The instructors, Vivien and Maya, were incredibly knowledgeable and kind. They made the class fun and interactive, and I learned so much about cooking in Taiwan.

The class was well-organized and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The recipes we made were delicious and I can't wait to replicate them at home.

This cooking class was one of the highlights of our vacation in Taiwan. The teachers taught us how to prepare and cook our food and were very patient with those of us who were new to cooking. There was an empasis on healthy food as the owner of the shcool began her own cooking journey by cooking for her son who had health issues.
Even though we were hesitant about our food, they came out looking great and tasting even better. Would go again. Please don't be shy to ask to take the food to go if you can't finish it. It's a compliment!

The Xiaolongbao we made were amazing! They tasted better than the ones I had at Din Tai Fung and other places. Bubble tea was also yummy.

Great experience! Nice, organized clean setting. Owner chef lady is welcoming and friendly and so his her translating assistant chef. Book directly on their website, you save and they gain. Have fun!

My family wanted to do something fun for my birthday. My cousin had just completed a class and loved it, so I decided to sign us up. It was so much fun! Vívian was very sweet and made sure everyone, including my kids, participated and were engaged. The food came out delicious.and there was so much food! I would highly recommend the class!
