Dongmen Market / 東門市場

Dongmen Market, which was near the accommodation, has a lot of various fruits and food. It would be a good choice for those who want to take out food.

Taipei 101 can be seen from various points in Taipei. You can also see it well from the East Gate area. Dongmen Market is a local market right next to MRT Dongmen Station. It is lively with many shops. From Dongmun Market, you can walk north towards Zendoji Temple. It has a different feel from the Yongkang Street area.

It was hard to find the entrance, but it was small and the walking distance was just right. As we went around, we picked out what we wanted to eat for lunch, bought it, and shared it among the four of us. Even if I didn't understand the words, I could get by with signs and gestures, and all the stores were kind. For the first time, I was surprised to see colorful and beautiful sushi rolls made of overly sweet sushi rice. The fruits, shumai, and shrimp dumplings were delicious.

滿不錯的市場，整體乾淨，大部分攤販也都有酒精消毒，有幾間的貨色真的非常好，很漂亮！但都比較貴就是～如果是對商品品質很苛求的，可以來這裡挖寶看看～

大概8-9點來剛好攤販、店家開門。

以顧客的角度來看，東門市場的攤商算是服務親切，但偶爾還是會有部分攤商，為了自身的方便，佔用公共區域，讓其他顧客經過時，必須左右閃躲。另外周邊的停車秩序也有改進的必要，來東門市場買菜的民眾，常常並排停車，甚至還有三排停車，導致交通嚴重阻塞。

充滿生命力的傳統市場，很多新鮮的蔬菜水果與魚肉！
喜歡回顧小時候幫媽媽提菜藍當小跟班的回憶，可到此“傳統”市場逛逛，感受台灣小市民的日常！
建議時間早一些不會太擁擠，可以感受清晨的溫馨空氣！（這是疫情前的感受啦！）

台北只剩東門還可以逛逛了：大部分商家還算誠信，種類/價格有競争性；機車停車位太少 - 柯市長理智心智遠高於民選官員平均值，但以濱江拥擠度來决定台北傳統/賣場的限流 是難得的大敗笔: 不知他何時能看到?

Goods and produce is a little bit expensive than other traditional market but if you stick around yonkang street, you should visit here and feel the Taiwanese hospitality.

在這裡面也有幾家早餐店
因為我是住在share house 的關係
遇到的室友每一個都超愛也超會煮菜的
有會做鬆餅的日本女生
起司醬油飯的日本男生
超級健康料理的台灣男生
薯條和美式漢堡的台灣男生
很愛買火龍果和芒果的大陸女生
但我其實並不怎麼拿手煮菜
又因為如此 我如果不買菜那豈不是顯得我更不會煮菜
既然有這些室友們也更要把握機會好好向他們學習煮菜
所以這間傳統菜菜市場毫無疑問是我當時早上的好去處 我都會早上爬起床來這裏逛 然後發ig限時動態
然後室友們看到就會想說：哇 你有去買菜耶！

I heard that they will closed and relocated to a more safer and modern structure. But I fear that perhaps not all the stalls and businesses will follow.

It is a stones throw away from YongKang street for all you foodies and tourists alike.

This market will make you feel amazed because it is different from other markets. This market sells various fresh foods such as vegetable, meat, fish in the morning. But, in the evening, many vendors start to run their business. These venders not only sell the Taiwanese cuisines but also sell the other countries cuisines such as Thai food, Japanese food. This market will change your previous imagination.

和台北市其他地區的傳統市場一樣，市場內部的攤位生意清淡，或是空著沒有營業，場外卻是熱鬧非凡。各式各樣的生鮮產品是超市甚至量販店所無法相比的。再加上隨時竄出的吆喝聲，可以感受到蓬勃的生氣，很棒。

名副其實的傳統市場，總感覺氣味和潮濕充滿著整個空間。若嚴格來區分，真正的東門市場指的是金山南路以西的部分，只有六七十攤，也就是台北市政府急於改建的區域。而金山南路以東，則是後來才聚集形成的傳統市場，攤商與市場範圍比原本的東門市場還多還大，但現在一般人將兩者都稱之為東門市場。

Street shopping. Too crowded but you can find a lots of local fruits and vegetables at a good price.

The local market in the town with the local atmosphere & people & varieties of foods for visitors to eat. I think this is a fresh market, very very fresh, starting from the early morning to the late afternoon.

市場東西多，尤其靠近金山南路那頭的巷子內的江浙小菜一極棒，老闆娘胖胖的，生意太好，只開星期六，日，二天。她的清蒸臭豆腐世界無敵的好吃，但要去的請要早到，一下子就沒有了。巷口的林青霞水餃，確實好吃，韮菜的……

東門市場交通便利捷運 可以到達 ，東門市場 菜色非常齊全品質很好有許多老招牌的店， 特別是一些 高級食材 都可以找得到，另外也有很多平價的蔬菜水果。 其中有名的事 賣米粉湯 東門水餃港式茶點 燒鴨滷味 還有一些古早的委託行銀樓。 附近又有永康商圈中正紀念堂 或是大安森林公園都近在咫尺走路10分鐘都可以到達
