Eddie at Boutique Hair

I've been going to Eddie's for years and he always does an excellent job with cutting and highlighting my hair. Eddie is a really experienced stylist and he understands what his client wants and executes it skillfully and confidently. He's great at doing a natural look which is what I usually ask for. And he has a lot of regular customers, all of whom he seems to know personally. The salon itself is sparkling clean, with lots of pretty indoor vertical gardening - a nice space to sit back and relax.

Eddie is attentive and experienced and he makes sure you are happy before you leave the salon. I highly recommend this salon for women with curly hair in Taiwan

Fantastic experience! Eddie understands curly hair and did a great job trimming and cutting bangs/fringe (something that my hairdresser back in Europe refused to do). I'm thoroughly satisfied, will come back again, and highly recommend! Perfect English, good advice, and a great stylist.

I'm sensitive to hairstyles
I heard that Taiwan hair salons are not good
So I haven't been to a hair salon since I came to Taiwan
Because I was afraid to ruin my hairstyles
I read the gogle reviews hard and chose here! It was lucky to me!
His skills were excellent and the hairstyle he made was easy to trim and stylish.
I am so happy now with his skills
I will continue to make hairstyles here!

After moving to Taipei 4 years ago I checked different hairdresser until I found Eddie. No one in Taiwan understands the needs of western hair and can reproduce the ideas / pictures provided like he does. Him being able to speak English is additional helpful to get the haircut I'm seeking for. The top service, great head massage, beautiful salon and fair prices make me keep going there over and over again

Eddie is probably the best hairdresser when it comes to Western hair.
But more than that, he is also very welcoming and puts you at ease, all the while giving his piece of advice.
The shampoo is very relaxing with the head massage, and the salon is very cosy.
Would definitely recommend!

Eddie is probably one of hairdresser in Taiwan you can go to, if you have Western hair. I tried many places before, and they fried my hair pretty badly, because they didn't understand how thin some Westerners hair is. Eddie did an awesome job! Will definitely go again.

Great place if you're looking for a bit of an upscale haircut from someone who knows how to handle Western hair and hairstyles. Eddie has always been easy to communicate with and very friendly. The staff and service is great.

I loved the end result of my hair it was really nice. Eddie was quite happy to listen to what we wanted, but also direct where necessary. It's a great salon choice if you only speak english as Eddie's English is amazing. Very good value for money (25 USD ish) for a wash and bouncy blow out + curling iron use.
Would definitely go back!

Sorry, I don't like the style he given to me. I saved up my length for hair cut. Eddie cut my hair too much and high up, thus make me look unglam/ sickly. Sigh, need to wait somemore before the next hair salvation. (P. S.my hair is naturally full and slight wavy before the hair cut)

Very very professional, we discussed what I wanted, Eddie shared his vision and at the end I was super happy with the result and overall experience (great reception, hair wash and massage, and overall interaction with both the staff and Eddie)

I’ve wavy hair that gets very fizzy due to the humidity in Taiwan. Eddie is the first hair dresser in Taiwan that i found who is able to deal with my kind of hair.
(Trust me, i tried many different hair dressers before)

It can be kind of hard in Taiwan to find a salon that does a great job with western hair, but Eddie is fantastic. He’s super friendly with a ton of experience, not just in Taiwan but abroad in England as well. It’s a little expensive for Taiwan, so if you’re looking for a bargain haircut then this isn’t the place for you. However, I think it’s worth paying a little more for a quality haircut, and Eddie is the best I’ve found in 2 years in Taiwan.

He did a good job but he charged me 1,200 more than the consultation when nothing had changed. I think it was a bit dishonest.

I cut and colored my hair here and was really happy about the result. I was a bit nervous since this was the first time doing anything drastic with my hair, like coloring it pink! We first had a good consultation where we agreed on a common goal, and then he walked us through step by step. His english is perfect and he is also very gentle. My hair had stains of yellow in it from a color festival and he managed to cover it up perfectly without giving my hair to much pink/red. The result was a beautiful rose gold color. Thank you Eddie!

I don't believe on Sam T. 's story as I notice that he is doing the same negative comments on all other Salons, restaurant.etc.on all countries as well. He is nothing more than a professional internet hatchet man.

Best haircut I’ve had in a while for the price. Eddie has Perfect English, the room is beautiful, service is great, and everyone is very polite. Will definitely come back again.
