Cocktail Bar

Location:

Pretty Central in Taipei City -

There are not many parking spots outside So I suggest to take the MRT or the bus which is located almost infront of the bar.

Interior:

Small, and very clean, comfortable small leather sofas and chairs at the bar, relatively dark and very cosy bar, background music is pleasant and not too loud to have a nice conversation.

Inside is non smoking, but there are 2 bar chairs outside where you are able to smoke.

Menu:

I am pretty sure they do have a menu but I never needed one!

They have a Large variey of Whiskey and Liquor of any sort.

Service:

Let me start with "Eddie" the owner is a gem, he is the kind of guy who makes you want to become his friend, incredibly skilled, social and friendly barkeeper.

He frequently creates his own cocktails and new variations of established drinks and is able to pull it off every single time close to perfection.

You can taste his devotion to the art of barkeeping and drinks in general.

The rest of the staff is equally welcoming, if they should not have a drink you want, they will research it and make it for you instantly.

Since Eddie and the staff is multi ligual, no matter if you are a Chinese native speaker, English or Thai speaker you will feel at home within a heartbeat.

Price:

For a small high end quality cocktail bar - it's very cheap. A cocktail is normally 250 ntd (8 USD), a beer is 150 ntd (5 USD).

Fazit:

A secret tip for anyone who enjoys a well made cocktail, interesting conversation with the host Eddie and his staff.
