Shandao Temple / 善導寺

善導寺是日治時期日本佛教淨土宗在台灣設立的佛寺, 也是台北市內現存規模最大的一所佛寺。  彿寺範圍包括大雄寶殿、慈恩大樓和文教大樓。其中設在慈恩大樓五至七樓的佛教歷史博物館珍藏了中國北魏、六朝、隋、唐、宋、元、明、清到近代的石雕藝術和木雕、陶瓷、玉雕、牙雕及金銅佛像，還有佛畫的藝術品。充滿佛教歷史價值的藝術品有興趣的話可以一看。
善導寺門口就是捷運善導寺車站，善導寺也設有停車場，一個小時30元在台北市中心算是想當划算。

The Shandao Temple (善導寺) is a temple in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is the largest Buddhist temple in Taipei.

One of my favorite little tempel to stop at in Taipei. Quiet not a lot of people good place to have a good quick prayer.

Very nice temple for you to visit by exit 6 shando temple stop.
On the first floor, you can see the three Buddhas.
It seems that other rooms are not open to public

This temple is one of a good land mark if you are traveling around Taipei. It is also few steps away to Shandao train station.

很古老呃 以前學校在附近 ， 天天在門口過，都沒進入過，，三十多年了前 ，為操度在福州過世的外公 ，在此做法會 ，才進入過，是很古樸 莊嚴的佛教勝地，，，現在現代化了， 看起來三不像了喔！

The temple is right behind Exit 6. Got the information from other web site that they have 3-storey of exhibition hall with large collection of hundred years Buddha statue and cultural stuff. Unfortunately it is not opened for public. I have asked the counter staff and they have no idea when it would open for public viewing. Well, that's my luck. Anyway, I m glad to view the 3 golden Buddha statue.

善導寺對台北市來說，已經是一個歷史悠久的寺廟。尤其是在捷運板南線經過之後，再把寺廟設為站名，更讓善導寺這廟的知名度，更是大大的增加不少的曝光率。自從之前廟宇整修之後，更顯的以往不覺得怎樣的寺廟，突然，覺得更氣派雄偉了！

Good architecture. The Shandao Temple is a temple in Zhongzheng District of Taipei. It is the largest Buddhist temple in Taipei. Shandao Temple is easily accessible within walking distance from Shandao Temple MRT Station.

遇節日時人潮較多
有長者或小孩同行的話可拿椅子休息
有餘力者也可參加他們一些祭拜活動

日本淨土宗總本山「知恩院」在台灣的別院，管理全台灣的淨土宗寺廟。
台北市內較著名的佛寺約有七所，善導寺是目前現存規模最大的一所。
大雄寶殿九層樓高的慈因大樓，其中四樓是太虛圖書館，五至七樓是佛教藝術品展覽場地，珍藏了中國北魏、六朝、隋、唐、宋、元、明、清至近代的藝術品。
