I enrolled with the intention of studying abroad for one year. Even though I came from an environment where Chinese was rarely used, I was somehow put in an advanced and difficult class. (There were other people besides me who said the same thing, so it might not be unusual.) I could only hear about half of what was being said in the whole class.
The teacher doesn't write anything on the board either (it would be easier to study if you knew the kanji), so it was hard to look up the words and guess the topic in class based only on the pronunciation.

All of my classmates around me were fluent in conversational Chinese, so I had no idea why I was put in this class even though I couldn't speak Chinese at all. Originally, I wanted to study from the basic stage of memorizing words and creating sentences. Why did you do the interview test?

I learned later that if the difficulty of the class doesn't suit you, you can change the class, but I couldn't change it because the deadline for changing had already passed.

I wish they would have made it more clear that classes can be changed! ! ! !
If I fail the test twice, I will be expelled, so I'm really worried about whether I'll be able to continue in this class for the next year.

很喜歡宮燈教室：
一講到淡江大學，就一定會讓人聯想到這裡！宮燈教室建於1954年，是淡江大學淡水校區最早的校舍，最為人所知的一大特色就是仿中國傳統的宮廷式建築外觀，以及人行步道上一盞盞的宮燈。
景色很美～～

交通：
1. 搭捷運到紅樹林站轉乘淡海輕軌-淡江大學站
2.: 搭乘捷運淡水信義線至淡水站，轉乘紅27、紅28公車至「淡江大學」站，下車即可抵達。

Super good teachers and very helpful classes. You will learn Chinese really fast here, plus its only about 30k NTD for like 4 months.

無障礙設施有待進步，男性身心障礙生沒有校內宿舍，校外宿舍沒有無障礙，只能去保健室。

因為疫情，也不是每一棟大樓有無障礙斜坡，而且，無障礙坡道只有一個門，不讓你進去，還要教職員幫你開門。雖然是好意，但教職員其實事情也很多

有學生在研討會上建議能否開有無障礙斜坡的門還不能，長官要你避開上下課時間，有學生強烈訴說雨天更不好進出，一樣被反駁，去跟那間大樓學系主任研議（踢皮球）；您是長官都不願意，各系主任那個不是聽你長官的？
建議有男性身心障礙同學要審慎評估一下。

研討會裡身障朋友怎麼說都沒有用，長官認證、認知那位好的就是好。我們就只能順從。

會後看見很多人去關心提問的學生，被告知原來再這樣的場合不能提出這樣問題。要學生當下直接跟單位樓層說就可以。
所幸會後很多負責任的教職員，都過來身援安撫這名學生。

結論：
公開場合，因為身障人士是小眾，意見不重要。
私下幫身障生找折中的辦法？！這也是辦法中辦法。原來這裡的遊戲規則是這樣。

One of the 1st connections I made when I arrived. Met one if my best buds Frank Lee there in the library, got scholarship to help alleviate the tuition burden and met a few Koreans and Ausy friends. Bud from Princeton recommended certain chardctor reading book to help me with my studies. Had a skit performance to act out. Good teachers and friendly staff and security.

城區部在台北市，校本部在新北市淡水區，原來早期為淡江英專。有很多傑出校友尤其是工商界。
淡江大學是臺灣早期知名私立大學中，唯一一個沒有宗教、企業背景的，也因此以校風開放著稱，讓校園文化百花齊放。它號稱是一所「沒有圍牆的學校」，整個校園並沒有明顯的圍牆圍繞，以此來表示與淡水區居民的貼近，和校園風氣的開放。
《不運動就走路》
張家宜校長為持續推展教職員工一人一運動，冀望藉由主管帶領，全員參與養成個人規律運動習慣，塑造淡江活力校園，以「不運動就走路」為口號，在學校內掀起一股運動風潮。淡江大學體育事務處配合校長推廣不運動就走路政策，透過運動手環結合APP紀錄步數，以每人每日一萬步為原則，朝向百人百萬步的里程碑。
文化週為淡江大學其15個校友會所共同舉辦的大型活動，目的在於宣揚自己家鄉的文化及小吃，活動的內容非常豐富，在海報街上的擺攤、黑天鵝的展覽、各個校友會的快閃和開幕、活動期前的宣傳以及文化週之夜。
淡江大學學生會為淡江大學學生自治之最高架構，亦為淡江大學官方認可之唯一學生自治組織。就現有可追溯紀錄為1994年成立，會員包括目前所有淡江大學之在學生，含大學部及研究所之日間部及夜間部。
淡江大學學生會由會本部、行政中心、學生議會及學生評議會共四機關組成，其中會本部為正副會長所屬機關，行政中心行使行政權，學生議會行使立法權、學生評議會行使司法權。學生會會長為淡江大學全體在學學生直接選舉產生，統領學生會，學生會時常辦理校內大型育樂性活動或演唱會，例如校慶活動、忘春瘋演唱會、聖誕永無島演唱會、淡江生活節及B計畫認證講座；另外依據《大學法》，也有權參加各式的校級會議，監督學校行政促進學生權利。現時學生會會本部及淡水校園行政部門辦公室為淡江大學紹謨紀念體育館SG203室，而學生議會辦公室為SG206室，選舉委員會辦公室為SG220室，另於蘭陽校園亦有蘭陽校園行政部門辦公室，每年7月1日交接。
學生社團活躍：
淡江社團活動相當蓬勃，學校投入很多人力與物力來支持全校200多個社團 (臺灣第二大，僅次於台大) 的正常運作，根據媒體的統計，淡江畢業生一直是國內企業的最愛，校內蓬勃的社團活動，應該是促成此現象之一，除學生組織淡江大學學生會外，淡江目前學生社團有學藝性社團、服務性社團、宗教性社團、康樂性社團、體育性社團、聯誼性社團、音樂性社團、學會。

淡江大學在金華街的台北校區，頗鄰近永康商圈、隔壁也是摩門教著名的台北聖殿；作為成人教育中心，平日晚上和假日許多的協會、公家機構舉辦的課程都挑在這裡舉辦。

通常報名每堂課程的人頗多，但這裡就算是大教室也沒辦法容入大量的學員，縱使是得以容入，空調的強度也在非冬日的上課時間讓整間教室十分悶熱。

Cheapest language school in Taipei as far as I know. However therefore the class size is also the largest. I studied there for 4 months at 26.5k NT in total with a class of 16 students. Overall very satisfied, but I don't know if the other schools are better or not.
