DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL COSTS!
Hand’s down the WORST place i’ve ever stayed at. I understand that I shouldn’t expect much given that it’s under $40 usd but there is much cheaper in Taipei for way better. I can’t even begin to list the atrocities here. You have to wait till 9 am to check in, when you do you have to put your luggage in a massive pile with everyone else’s and you just have to trust that nothing happens to your goods and that there’s enough room for all your things. When you check out your cot, it’s most likely a small bed in a hot room full of 8-14 people but don’t worry, your separated by a sometimes broken curtain that people can still peak through. Make sure you bring ear plugs because people snore and cough constantly not to mention they blair music constantly. Bringing me to my next point, this place IS NOT SANITARY.your cot will not be cleaned until you leave.the bathrooms are cleaned once a day but because there’s so many people the sinks and showers are still constantly filthy.i’m talking hair, mucus, the works. Here’s the biggest kicker, the dryer is broken. But they won’t tell you, they know that it’s broken but they’d rather you spend more money and find that out.so many guests have complained it doesn’t work but they lie and say they’ll get someone to fix it. No ones coming, they won’t even put and out of order sign. The staff is pure scum for that, I talked to another person that said they hadn’t fixed it for a year.

Good value for money, good for a short stay. The cabinet is so narrow that it feels stuffy.

優點 西門站出來1-200公尺真的很近 一下去都是吃的很熱鬧中的熱鬧 位置很棒 該有的都有 房間只有廁所剛好 衛浴設在外面 設備該有都有還有現煮咖啡販賣機算加分 在小小的鬧區地點這樣還可以 另外有一個寬型陽台可以直接出去抽菸且有綠色植物這點不錯 下面就是西門街頭藝人

衛浴雖然做乾濕分離但是門只有一半奇怪的設計水還是會潑濺 吹風機實在很小 旅客這麼多更新三隻應該還好吧⋯ 因為幾乎都滿房

聲音大沒辦法因為西門夜市也沒法說什麼 對聲音敏感的就不行了 我個人還好
只是半夜不知道是什麼氣體或粉末我突然半夜狂咳挺奇怪

床偏硬也有點歷史 但店家應該開很久所以也可以想像 櫃檯中英文都流利服務還不錯
如果要將就一兩晚還行

要是有目的長住就不行了 交誼廳也偏小
有利有弊給適用的人參考
這次是有商務需求個人覺得假日價錢偏高但方便就好

The only great thing is the location, as it's right in the middle of a night market.

I can confirm that a mixed dorm contains no less than 15 beds. That seems a bit excessive, especially since some guests want to bring their luggage in to sit next to their beds, making it difficult to access your bed in the dorm. While your luggages must sit outside in the hall area. I didn't expect a 5-star hotel, but this seems rather disorganized.

The staff speaks English well but isn't very helpful. For instance, you can't request an extra pillow.

The air in the dorm isn't too cold for me, but it might be for some. Unfortunately, it's not adjustable.

The common areas and hall are reasonably clean.

I don't have a problem with noise at night, but the reviews are accurate. You'll hear noise from singing and the night market. It usually quiets down around midnight or later.

預定混合雙人床，實際上是混合單人床打通，因其中一床完全沒有出入口所以要出去只能從另一床進出，猜測是因為床位出入口問題才標榜雙人床…有點鳥，跟圖片完全不符有預定到此房型請注意。

房間幾乎0空調有點像送風的感覺非常悶熱，樓下似乎是唱歌的場所非常吵隔音不佳，如果隔天有較早賽程的人要自備耳塞不然就是慎選地點。

優點大概就是價格便宜跟地點不錯，但不足以彌補上面的問題。

The location was so good~ I think the shower room was cleaner than I was worried about. However, the air conditioner was turned on so loudly at night. It was very cold to sleep. I hope this point can be improved. (+ The last map was hanging in the hallway next to the entrance.)

和店家提供的照片有落差
到旅舍需要搭電梯，電梯屬於比較老舊，如果女生一個人會比較危險
周圍地點不錯

1. 房間冷氣超級冷，睡到一半會被冷醒
2. 關門聲滿大的，早睡的人會容易被晚進來的人影響
3. 跟圖片中有點落差，浴室窄、床位小，且很多地方感覺都很久沒有修繕了
4. 房裡的置物櫃放不下20吋行李箱
5. 浴室只有安裝一個花灑，平時若是習慣用蓮蓬頭的人需要特別注意

唯一特別的是這裡外國旅客多，喜歡和外國人交流的是不錯的選擇，但如果對住宿品質有挑剔的人可能要另尋他處

Loud music from KTV below makes it hard to sleep, one male staff member at the front desk was especially rude and seemed annoyed to have to be approached by guests at all.

They play music fairly loudly in the lobby. I'm working remotely and sometimes need to take work calls or have meetings, so a quieter space would be appreciated. But I wouldn't mind it otherwise.

The dormitory is a tad small for the amount of beds in it. It can get crammed.

As for the mattresses, you can feel some springs, so it can be a bit uncomfortable.

Aside from that, the location is convenient, the staff seems nice, very LGBT friendly, the decoration is welcoming, there's hot and cold drinking water provided and a laundry machine for 50$. The wifi is okay too.

很吵很吵很吵很吵很吵
沒遇過那麼吵的青旅，看網上評論都是吵，隔音不好，但大多說半夜11點前就會結束，結果不知道是我倒楣還怎樣，入住的這晚，到半夜4點了，交誼廳還是一堆人在喝酒玩遊戲大笑，最扯的是，連下班後的工作人員都玩在一起，好像整個青旅就只有他們五六個人，其他在睡覺的人都不存在一樣，所有人都要聽著他們的吵鬧聲睡覺，耳塞一點用都沒有

下午5點半入住，跟同行的朋友在整理行李，突然被住客說：麻煩你們小聲一點好嗎？
我就想請問，下午五點半，我們剛入住整理行李，請問出點聲音怎麼了？
環境有夠窄，電燈還都不會亮，整個床壓迫到不行，所以一踏出旅店就決定重找新的旅店睡，再次回到西門窩要辦理退房時，櫃檯人員詢問我們是否因為急事需要離開，我們將入住時的事情轉達給他，櫃檯人員詢問我們那位客人的床號後，竟然表示，喔 其實沒有關係啦，因為那是我們的員工 ……
？？？？ 一句道歉也沒有，員工教育素質這麼差，要不是一星才能留言，你們真的連開旅店都不配

Recap stay:
- community area are wayyyyy to close to the sleeping areas and you can hear the other tenants laughing at like 2am.
- there is no staff supervision to enforce quiet after 11pm.
- bed was fine, good AC.
- all the doors SLAM. No idea why hostel doesn't install door stoppers. You will get zero sleep if people are inconsiderate which is often. I would avoid this for this reason alone.
- wifi was okay.
- balcony was great
- staff is great when they were there
- area is great

Come stay if you are a heavy sleeper. Otherwise, stay away.

Great location but not so great soundproofing from the dingy KTV Nightclub downstairs. Consider yourself warned when they offer free earplugs upon check-in. Bathrooms were kinda small and it was perpetually crowded. From my experience 2 years back.

It’s very convenient near the train station Taipei in around here have a Lotta store even is it all building but still have a new decoration

Nice clean place, a little bit noisy from the neighborhood, but in exchange you will be staying in the most fun position of Taipei.

The staff of the hotel is terrible.they're impolite and lack of manner.
Have to be signed a paper when checkin, and the condition is unfair.the free for check out late is over than the fee of 1 day at hostel
The room is small and lack of fresh air. Bathroom isnt clean, has hair and garbage on the floor
Shoundnt use the dryer machine, it dont work well

I stayed for one night in the girls dormitory and i am so dissapointed, the shower room is only 4, shared by boys and girls, the aircon inside the room is very weak, so i feel uncomfortable, the bed is extremely hard, the sensor of locker in the bed have an alarm sound so it made a noise and disturbing other guest, there's a music lounge downstairs of the hostel and i can't take a good sleep because of the noise, they don't have free body towel to use, they only have face towel and you can purchase it in the receptionist and pay for 30nt dollars, the only good thing is they have free breakfast, and the location is absolutely good because it's in the center of ximen.

The beds as extremely hard, and
have metal wires in them. It is also over a karoke bar, so you get to listen to horrible singing and bass music all night. Staff are NOT friendly, no real common area either then a table and chair, and 15-20 people to a room. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Super cheap bunk beds for resting and is pretty clean, you will have to share restroom with other guests tho. Breakfast is provided but remember to do your own dishes! The entrance and the elevator of the building stinks but I guess it's not something the hostel can fix.
