油条is soggy and not fresh, this place lacks proper seatings and is cramp. Better to visit the main shop.

Lineups every day all day, this place is crazy popular and for good reason. Cheap and simple yet delicious. Don't be scared away by the long line, they are very efficient here and the line will move quicker than you think.

They have English menu which is very complicated, so might as well show the photos of things you want. Search online for food recommendations so that you can just show it to them. The food there is nice and affordable. Very easy for me to get seats but if big groups, might be a little difficult. But that's the same for everywhere.

Place was small but cozy. Service was relatively fast despite the fact that the queue was very long. Food was great! Up to its standard and highly recommend to try it's omelette/ carrot cake.

The fried dough sticks (you tiao) here are very disappointing. They have a very strong cooking oil odour and was not aromatic at the least. The egg floss roll was good. Soy milk was alright.

Love their sesame soy milk and chinese fried donut. The famous salty soy milk was not delicious for me but it seems like it would be the locals favourite dish.

Good place for simple breakfast. Limited seats. Price reasonable. Quite popular with tourist staying nearby. I actually bumped into a friend with family from home. Second visit and will be back again if staying at Ximending.

Very good xiao long bao, soy milk etc. Everything actually is really good. Will go here for breakfast every day.

This is not a fancy place but the food is delicious. Good for a hearty breakfast before wandering the city all day. Go early to avoid the lines. The cashier spoke some English but you can get by with pointing at the pictures on the menu. Very reasonable price. I recommend the xiao long bao, rice wrap and warm soy milk.

Nice place to have breakfast. Expect half hour queue before to get a place to sit in. Take away is also a long queue. Prority is given to those who order in to eat

For those who are used to sweet soya beancurd in Singapore, Taiwanese salty and soupy version is different. Some may not like it.

Came here for breakfast 5 or 6 times during my trip. Xiaolongbao is a bargain, 75 TWD for 8. Quality is not much different from Dingtaifung which goes for 100TWD for 5

I would only go back for that nice cup of hot, creamy and not-too-sweet soymilk, takeway!

The place is too small and I didn’t have an enjoyable experience. You have to queue to order and they will assign you the table once it is ready.

The food is quite ‘instant’ kind and probably prepared beforehand. The mantou of the burger is dry and tough. Same goes for the sesame one. The dough stick is cold and hard too.

I only liked the cong you bing, which was piping hot and fresh.

Come here early to avoid lines! Recommend the turnip cakes with eggs and the rice rolls are food. Always get the soy milk.
