The best bar for expats in Zhongli. The staff is great and friendly. The drinks are great, and you find a wide selection of these. When I say wide, it means, you could be from any country on the planet and very likely find something from home here.

Great service and variety of local and important beer. Alcohol and non-alcohol drinks & cocktails. Wednesday night is students night, with big specials. Friday's are ladies night.

We were there for a good 4,5 nights before flying back to Ireland. The owners, staff and the regulars were absolutely amazing and friendly. I mentioned that it was my favourite bar when I worked nearby nearly a decade ago and I was impressed how smooth everything was running when I visited this time.

If you visit Jongli, stay near this place!

We went to check it out, hugely disappointed to see it’s a place that runs this type of nonsense, best left to the redneck crowd, ended up at nice Indian restaurant instead with good beers and food

Great bar! Only place i found in taiwan that offered canadian beer! Thanks for the good times, i will be back to the river for sure when i come to taiwan again

這是一家在中壢歷史悠久的一間美式酒吧！一進到店內就可以感覺得到將近二十年來無數的顧客在此留下的美好時光，而店員們也非常熱情和健談的來招呼新朋友和熟客們。個人很推這家，特別是你月底快沒錢時又想出去喝一杯（因為這家的酒賣的很便宜，只要兩千塊去就可以喝的很爽）!

環境簡單，有撞球檯，店員及客人都擅英文，氣氛輕鬆。

Super chill bar with fun owner and bartenders! Will definitely be back if I'm in the area again. Maybe just to use the epic trough. Haha jk

A lot of foreigners coming here for a drink, the owner's name is Ali, he's from South Africa, he's a jolly person who introduce their specials, some evenings have live band, also a foreign singer, try it to have experience at RIVER BAR.

Never have I ever had such an amazing experience than at a bar such as River. Honestly, Allie made us feel at home with his warming hospitality, his musical knowledge, and his entertaining banter. A great night and 10/10

Really a cool spot for foreigners in zhongli, cheap drinks wonderful and sexy bartenders, snooker table, western music, you do met a lot of foreigners there and sometimes free drinks if you buy some types of bottles, got ladies nite too.

My favorite dive in Jhongli! It recently changed ownership and now is an even better dive! Check it out!
